Photos of Us Having Fun

If you take any photographs at any of our classes or functions, or indeed at other functions, it might be of interest to your fellow class members. Let Dennis or Janet have them and we will include them on this page.

We achieved our first birthday on 4th April 2007 and celebrated it with a cake and a little drink. The first dance taught back then was "California Freeze" and since then we have learnt over 80 dances - pretty good going - well done !!

There are a few photos of the cake and of the night as well as a group photo.

Your beloved "Leader" and a few class members went on a Linedance weekend just before Easter - and boy did we have fun. Click on the Photo (if you can recognise him) for more photos of the weekend.

Our Halloween Disco on the 28th October 2006 took place at Parsons Hall. What a tremendous night !!! So many people entered into the "spirit" of the evening and dressed up. I would like to thank each and every one of you that came for your enthusiasm and sheer sense of fun and for making the night the fantastic success it was.

What a night the New Years Eve Do was - We had everything - everybody was in the mood for a great time, and thats exactly what we had. Great music and Dancing, Quiz, spot prizes, Karaoke (well almost !) Games, great food - in fact everything to usher in the New Year. If you want to see the photos from that night click on the picture.

Our first Club Disco held at Rushden Rangers Club. It was limited to 35 people and proved a great success. There were spot prizes, a door prize and a quiz. We got through 42 dances (most with a walk through) but as long as everybody enjoyed themselves... We even had a pyrotechnic display ( a quiz sheet caught on fire - not only once, but twice - both on the same table) * must run through emergency evacuation procedure before the next one. It was a special night for one guest - Harry, who celebrated his 80th birthday, and we welcomed back a familiar face in the shape of Kaz, who used to teach a few of our club before.

We will do it again - but for now click on the picture on the right to view a few pictures from the evening - Even Paddy found a new friend !!
